Made it to the gym last Saturday and then went to a little bar in Yorba Linda by the gym and partied some. Got home late and rested all day Sunday. Off to the gym again today and then maybe to the mall to see if there are any great deals to be had. May stop at that little bar by the gym but likely should not since I can't seem to get out of there until I am sick from excess alcohol consumption.

One holiday down and one to go. I dislike New Years less than Christmas because it is less commercialism. During Christmas, people who are assholes all year go out and buy gifts and send cards and try to act human when they really couldn't give a rat's ass most of the time. At least on New Years there isn't the gift exchanging and all that bull shit.

I am off to the gym and then maybe to the mall with the girl in Tustin that is hell bent on making my life miserable.

I absolutely hate the holidays more than any other time of year. Maybe I am crazy or deranged or some kind of freak but I would rather not live if every day was like Christmas. I never have liked holidays not even as a kid. This time of year really screws with my head and this year has been as bad as any that I can remember for a very long time. It is not that I am not thankful for what I have or for the opportunities that I have. It is not that I am some selfish bastard that doesn't help others. This time of year makes me sad. I want to be alone and have absolutely no interaction with anyone. And this isn't me. Next year I will have a trip planned so that I can be alone where no one knows me and I can be by myself. Be gone already all this joyful season!

Seems like every time I make it to the gym in Yorba Linda I end up stopping by a little beer bar nearby and drinking too many beers. This could be called counterproductive. My body simply cannot process alcohol as it once could so my drinking days are numbered.

Off to the gym again and then maybe some Christmas shopping.

The nights in Southern California recently have become quite chilly. But it isn't as bad as some places that have to tolerate snow and rain and really bad weather.

Nothing new. Made it to the gym yesterday for the first time in a few days. Ran the horse trail. Stopped by the hillbilly bar and drank too many beers.

A kid I grew up with in West Virginia died last weekend of a drug overdose. So sad. When will the people come to understand that the only real solution to the drug problem is to make it all legal and deal with those who can't handle it in the medical arena instead of in the criminal injustice center. Phillip Justice, dead at age 45. Rest in peace my old friend.

If I hear one more news cast involving the former dictator of Iraq, I may destroy the TV. Just kidding but enough already. We invaded a country that posed no danger to the United States and now we caught the leader. Will we kill him because he is a bad guy or will we set up some kind of "trial" in Iraq so that the Iraq government can kill him? The whole damn thing is sick.

Looks like the George Bush will reap some political benefit from this. The democrats had best get their head out of their ass and nominate a candidate that can compete in the next election or we will have four more years of George.

Off to the gym. Didn't make it there at all last week. Bad Randy.
